Refund Policy

1. General Policy for Digital Goods

Getstreamwidgets is a marketplace where independent vendors sell digital assets. Because all products are **digital goods** delivered via instant download, they fall under a specific category regarding refunds. Once a digital file has been downloaded or a unique license key has been accessed, the product is considered "used" and is generally not eligible for return or refund under standard circumstances.

2. Eligibility for Refund

The Platform and the respective Vendor may, at their discretion, issue a refund or store credit in the following exceptional cases:

• Technical Non-Performance: If the product is fundamentally broken or non-functional and the Vendor's support team (or the Platform's team) is unable to fix the issue or provide a working alternative within 7 business days of your report.
• Duplicate Purchase: If you accidentally purchased the exact same product twice. In this case, the second transaction will be refunded.
• Product Not as Described: If the product you received is significantly different from the description or the live preview provided on the marketplace listing. (Minor aesthetic variations or misunderstandings of technical requirements do not qualify).

Because products are sold by independent vendors, the refund process involves multiple parties:

4. Non-Refundable Situations

Refunds will NOT be granted under the following circumstances:

• You no longer want the product after downloading it.
• You purchased the product by mistake but have already initiated a download.
• You do not have the technical skills to use the product (vendors and our team provide support to help you, but lack of skill is not grounds for a refund).
• You do not have the required software to run the widget (e.g., OBS, Streamlabs) as clearly stated in the product description.
• The product was purchased on sale or as part of a bundle.
• The Vendor ceases to provide future updates or additions to the product.

5. Refund Abuse (Fair Use Policy)

To protect our independent vendors from fraud, we strictly monitor refund requests. If we detect a pattern of "serial refunding" (e.g., repeatedly purchasing and refunding items), we reserve the right to decline future refund requests and permanently suspend the abusive account without notice.

6. Required Information

We aim to review and respond to all requests within 3-5 business days.

7. Chargebacks and Disputes

We encourage you to contact us directly to resolve any issues before initiating a chargeback with your bank or payment provider. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that initiate fraudulent chargebacks. Getstreamwidgets will provide detailed evidence to payment processors and banks to contest any unjustified disputes.
